Officials in Abbottabad are taking steps to fix and upgrade walking paths within Galiyat, Baragali, and Thandiani in order to boost tourism and offer improved recreation options for guests.

Hameedullah Khan, the Abbottabad Deputy Commissioner, ordered related agencies to accelerate the process of locating, repairing, and building tourism and walking paths throughout these regions.

He told the Abbottabad Tehsil Municipal Administration to gather price quotes for surveys, drone mapping, and topographical mapping covering 10 previously selected paths, then send those quotes in for review.

The Forest Department received instructions to turn in PC-I paperwork for four approved paths directly to the Deputy Commissioner Office.

At the same time, the Galiyat Development Authority received orders to accelerate approved construction efforts and start building as soon as the bidding procedures finish.
