The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has finished marking government land in Mouza Malpur, Islamabad, in preparation for a planned operation against illegal encroachments.
The survey defined the limits that separate state-owned parcels from private properties, clarifying which buildings lie on government land.
Malpur, also called Malpur Rajgan or Phulwari, is one of Islamabad's oldest historic villages, situated off Murree Road near Rawal Lake.
These demarcation results will enable CDA and the district administration to spot unlawful occupation and decide where enforcement may be needed.
Authorities are gearing up for the anti-encroachment drive, with action expected against unauthorised occupants in line with the law.
