Faisalabad Electric Supply Company Chief Executive Officer Muhammad Amir Pannu and his three sons are facing a newly registered case filed by the Faisalabad Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation Inland Revenue concerning tax evasion and money laundering.

Official findings state that over Rs320 million in taxes went unpaid across 2025 and 2026. Investigators maintain that these hidden amounts funded various property acquisitions, with several purchases registered under the names of the CEO's sons.

Investigators also claim that property buys and gifts facilitated the movement of these funds. Consequently, the filing questions asset declarations and the origins and transfers of the money.

In response, Pannu denied all accusations and provided an alternate rationale for the properties in question. He stated that these holdings came from inheritance and insisted that their worth was previously reported as taxable earnings.

Pannu added that he plans to fight the charges and present his defense to the proper authorities.

This case starts a legal proceeding, meaning the court has yet to confirm the accusations against the parties. Investigators will review related tax filings, property deals, and financial documents.

This situation drew notice because Pannu leads FESCO, a prominent power distributor in Punjab. The matter will move forward through standard legal and inquiry channels while officials check the claims and the accused offer their side.
