Marina Friedt, who leads the German Press Association in Hamburg and belongs to the European Federation of Journalists, went to the National Press Club in Islamabad alongside Berlin journalist Moritz Lohmann and Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Pakistan programme advisor Abdullah Dayo.

National Press Club Islamabad Secretary Dr. Furqan Rao welcomed the delegation, explained how the club operates and supports members, and showed them around the facilities.

The meeting involved talks about media industries, press cooperation, and difficulties reporters face in both nations, with an emphasis on improving connections through shared knowledge and networking.

Participants committed to increasing future cooperation by organizing training sessions, professional exchanges, and opportunities for reporters from Pakistan and Germany to exchange expertise.

Leaders from both groups highlighted that global cooperation and talks are vital for solving new media problems and strengthening ties among reporters.

The visit by the German Press Association representatives served to build better media relations and professional solidarity between reporters from the two countries.
