Interloop Holdings is spending $55 million, which equals Rs. 15 billion, to build a fresh dairy processing facility in Pakistan. This project runs through its subsidiary IL Foods Limited and teams up with Türkiye firm Rella Gida.

Musadaq Zulqarnain, the CEO of Interloop, revealed the project. He stated that the plant will manufacture butter, cheese, and high-value whey protein concentrate.

The modern factory will build Whey Protein Concentrate 80, known as WPC80, together with various dairy goods. Officials intend to ship some output abroad to help boost Pakistan exports involving value-added items.

Zulqarnain mentioned that once operations start, the total yearly milk processing volume for Interloop will hit 180 million litres.

He noted that the financial commitment shows the business dedication toward technology, value addition, import substitution, and local dairy sector growth.

Established back in Faisalabad during 1992, Interloop Limited expanded into a top exporter for Pakistan and a major global hosiery maker. The enterprise makes items like socks, tights, denim, knitted apparel, yarn, and activewear for major global brands and stores.
