An internal probe has started following a meal disagreement between Islamabad police personnel stationed near the Serena Hotel, triggered by an assistant sub-inspector reportedly mistreating a constable asking for food.

The filed complaint states that the constable walked up to the assistant sub-inspector to pick up a meal during his special duty assignment. The higher-ranking officer reportedly acted discourteously and denied the food request.

The official X account of Islamabad Police reported that the DIG Security addressed the claim and ordered the SSP Security to look into the matter. A complete investigation is currently active, and departmental consequences will depend on the results.

Authorities have not declared any disciplinary outcomes yet, leaving the accusation against the assistant sub-inspector open pending the probe.

Investigators will establish the facts surrounding the altercation and decide if any misconduct took place.
