Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan chaired a meeting in Islamabad where the National Highway Authority decided to advance four infrastructure projects through the public-private partnership model.

These initiatives feature a 169-kilometer stretch of the M-10 Motorway, a pathway connecting Mansehra, Naran, Jalkhad and Chilas with the Chinese border, and the Guru Nanak Expressway intended for Sikh pilgrims.

Discussions during the session also covered the potential extension of the Murree Expressway toward Kashmir. Khan instructed officials from the authority to draft a business plan for these ventures and emphasized boosting financial self-reliance.

Muhammad Ali, who advises the prime minister on privatization, promised his support during the gathering. Participants reached a consensus to finish initial preparations inside one week and convene again to check progress on the plans.
