Nishat Group and Chinese electric-vehicle brand LUXEED signed a cooperation agreement on October 18, 2026, in Wuhu, China, to explore entering Pakistan and potentially adding more premium EVs to the local market, with backing from Chery Group.

LUXEED, a premium marque created through a partnership between Chery and Huawei, merges Chery's manufacturing know-how with Huawei's smart cockpit and driver-assistance technology, focusing on electric mobility, digital features, comfort and performance.

The deal represents another phase of Nishat Group's growth in Pakistan's automotive arena. Via its NexGen Auto subsidiary, the group launched OMODA and JAECOO models in August 2025 and has advanced with Chery's iCAUR brand, expanding its automotive portfolio alongside interests in textiles, banking, cement, insurance and energy.

Pakistani consumers could see a broader selection of premium electric vehicles with LUXEED's entry.
