A fresh Standard Operating Procedure for pension payments has been released by Pakistan Post, mandating that all pensioners finish a digital proof of life verification via NADRA once every six months. Individuals receiving family pensions tied to marital status must additionally provide a non-marriage or non-remarriage document.

Pakistan Post explained in an official letter to relevant staff members that individuals can finish this check using the Pak ID mobile application, designated registration centers, mobile branches, and e-Sahulat locations. Authorized bank branches and mobile applications functioning as official NADRA facilities will likewise provide this option.

Pensioners lacking digital access, along with those unable to verify due to severe old age or health issues, are permitted to use the traditional manual life certificate form No. 10. Citizens residing in foreign countries must fill out form No. 11, whereas family pensioners living abroad are required to use form No. 12.

Union councils must verify non-marriage or non-remarriage documents when family pension continuation depends on marital status, and these papers must go to the pension facilitation center. The Pakistan Post directorate of accounts instructed all relevant offices to notify retired workers about this process if NADRA records lack current marital status details.
