On Friday, the Pakistani rupee (PKR) ended the session in positive territory versus the US dollar (USD), recording its 263rd consecutive day of appreciation.
The currency settled at 276.91, a one-paisa gain over the dollar for the day.
This upward trend has persisted since December 25, 2025.
Other Currencies
Against the British pound, the rupee fell by Rs. 1.66, and it lost 80 paisas versus the Australian dollar (AUD).
The rupee also slipped 55 paisas against the Euro (EUR) and 47 paisas against the Canadian dollar (CAD).
It decreased by one paisa against the UAE dirham (AED) and by two paisas against the Saudi riyal (SAR).
