Pakistan petrol dealers are pushing back against the current daily fuel pricing system. The All Pakistan Petrol Pump Owners Association requested a sit-down with Petroleum Minister Ali Pervaiz Malik to address how these rates affect station operators.

Constant adjustments to petroleum tariffs lead to monetary damages, hurt cash flow, and complicate stock oversight, according to the group.

A written message sent to the minister explained that recurring price shifts generate unpredictability during buying and selling, alongside complicating existing inventory evaluations.

The group cautioned that the current framework harms daily business activities and leaves station proprietors vulnerable to financial danger.

Pump Owners Seek Review of Daily Pricing

The association demanded a sensible, clear method for setting petroleum costs, stating that retailers need consultations prior to adjustments.

Authorities must weigh the welfare of station owners while maintaining steady fuel distribution for buyers, the group noted.

The correspondence asked for an appointment with the Petroleum Minister to address difficulties stemming from the active system and offer workable solutions.

A policy evaluation is necessary to lower commercial unpredictability and better handle fuel inventories and cash flow, the association stated.
