Authorities in Sheikhupura reported that a 12-year-old domestic employee named Zainab suffered a fatal beating using sticks in the Olakh Park neighborhood, pointing to the household where she was employed.
Law enforcement officials stated that a female health worker, along with her spouse and their 20-year-old son, inflicted the severe physical abuse on Zainab. Officers swiftly took the husband into custody, and search operations continue to locate the remaining female suspect and her son.
The mother of the young girl explained that Zainab performed full-time labor inside the residence of Farukhanda Bibi in exchange for a monthly salary amounting to Rs4,000.
Relatives of the deceased child requested intervention from Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to secure justice for the tragic killing.
