From 15th to 22nd October 2026, the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) carried out monitoring at 166 mobile sites through its 12 Zonal Offices, aiming to raise telecom service quality, network performance and address consumer concerns.

During that week, PTA's zonal teams, working closely with relevant stakeholders, visited locations in Karachi, Quetta, Jacobabad, Khairpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Kasur, Pattoki, Kot Radha Kishan, Nowshera Virkan, Torghar, Faisalabad and Gilgit-Baltistan to evaluate services and tackle consumer-raised problems. Operators were instructed to remedy the identified shortcomings in mobile coverage and voice-internet quality within the set deadline.

PTA says it will keep collaborating with pertinent organisations, telecom providers and local administrations to deliver more reliable, higher-quality telecom services to users nationwide.
