The Directorate General of Literacy and Non-Formal Basic Education released a directive on October 19 stating that these institutions will now function between 8:45 AM and 12:45 PM from Monday to Saturday.
Authorized by leadership, the directive grants local officials the power to modify hours individually to suit the requirements of the local students.
District personnel received instructions to log the updated hours onto the Non-Formal Education Management Information System portal right away.
District Education Officers for Literacy throughout Punjab must guarantee complete adherence to the updated timetable. The directive covers all non-formal schools in the province and supersedes earlier schedules through the end of March 2027.
