Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited announced an eight-hour gas stoppage across multiple Peshawar neighborhoods because of maintenance on a main pipeline located at Zakori Flyover on GT Road.

The utility provider stated that the outage starts at 9 PM on Tuesday, October 20, lasting until 5 AM on Wednesday, October 21. Crews will relocate the primary pipeline, causing temporary service interruptions in the impacted zones.

Peshawar Cantonment, Lady Reading Hospital, Nauthia, Gulberg, Charsadda Road, Pajaggi Road, and nearby areas will experience the service disruption.

The company urged local consumers to prepare alternate arrangements before the planned shutdown to prevent trouble during the overnight maintenance hours.

Residents must keep their gas appliances turned off for the entire duration of the stoppage, according to instructions from the firm. Safety officials recommend this step to lower accident risks when service restarts.

Users ought to organize their cooking and household activities around the published timeline.
