TECNO introduced the POVA Curve 2 5G in Pakistan today, offering a device that combines striking design with robust performance. The handset comes with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage and is priced at PKR 99,999.
The Beast Inside: Dimensity 7100 5G
Powering the phone is MediaTek's Dimensity 7100 5G processor, aimed at typical Pakistani usage such as gaming, streaming, multitasking and constant connectivity. Gamers can enjoy up to 90 minutes of stable Free Fire at 60 fps, aided by Ice Cooling 3.0. The device holds a TÜV Rheinland certification guaranteeing lag-free operation for six years. It supports 20 5G bands and TECNO's own signal tech, delivering up to 100 % stronger indoor signal and 60 % stronger Wi-Fi, also TÜV certified, a feature TECNO dubs the Pakistan Signal King.
8000mAh in 7.42mm: The Slimmest Phone with a Battery This Big
Encased in a 7.42 mm thick, 195 g body, the POVA Curve 2 5G houses an 8000 mAh battery, making it the thinnest handset with such capacity. The battery allows charging every two days, more than 15 days of standby and a TÜV-certified extended life of over three days. A 45 W wired fast charger fills the phone in 82 minutes, while 10 W reverse and bypass charging are also supported. Built for 2,000 cycles, TECNO claims this equals six years of safe use.
A Curved 144Hz AMOLED Display That Shines in the Sun
The device features a curved 144 Hz AMOLED screen that offers smooth scrolling and gameplay, with peak brightness reaching 4,500 nits for clear visibility in direct sunlight. Touch performance includes 16× resolution and a 2160 Hz instant sampling rate, providing ultra-low response for titles like PUBG and MLBB, plus anti-mistouch for wet or oily fingers.
Beauty on the Outside, Beast Underneath
Drawing inspiration from interstellar ships, the phone blends bold lines with a minimalist finish and a symmetrical triangular design. It is equipped with IP64 dust- and water-resistance, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, and SGS-certified 1.5 m drop resistance. Buyers can choose from Melting Silver, Mystic Purple or Storm Titanium.
Smart Camera, Smarter Every Day
Photography is handled by a 50 MP main sensor, a 2 MP macro lens and a 13 MP front camera. TECNO AI adds features such as AI Eraser 2.0, AI Flare Remover, Image-to-Live, AI Noise Cancellation for calls, and the Ella voice assistant, which provides two-way call translation (including WhatsApp), WhatsApp summaries and one-tap Q&A.
