Golf legend Tiger Woods, 50, and Vanessa Trump, 48, who is Donald Trump's former daughter-in-law, have talked about getting married after leaning on each other through a series of personal difficulties over the past year.
Sources told Page Six that the pair have spoken about tying the knot, though insiders claim Woods is not necessarily preparing to propose immediately. An insider stated, "They've both been through a lot this past year and have really leaned on each other." Friends believe their bond is stronger now because their recent hardships proved how much they can rely on one another.
Vanessa received her all-clear from breast cancer recently, having first shared her diagnosis in April. She underwent surgery and additional treatment before announcing her recovery in a video on her daughter Kai's Instagram account. Woods backed his girlfriend through her cancer battle, and the two reportedly held private celebrations with family and friends after her good results.
Their children have bonded as well. Vanessa formed a strong connection with Woods' children Sam and Charlie, and her daughter Kai, an aspiring golfer, reportedly adores the 15-time major champion.
Woods faced his own troubles after a severe car crash in Florida in March led to an arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence. He entered a no contest plea to reduced driving charges in September, receiving a five-year driving ban. Vanessa attended the court appearance and stood by his side.
Woods divorced Elin Nordegren in 2010. He and Vanessa made their relationship official in March last year, which was seven years after her marriage to Donald Trump Jr finished. Now, the couple might be getting ready to move their relationship forward.
