Starting Monday, October 19, TransPeshawar deployed 12-meter buses on two routes of the Peshawar Bus Rapid Transit network to ease crowding and upgrade transit services for riders.

These new vehicles now run alongside current 18-meter buses on lines ER-01 and SR-02. According to TransPeshawar, the change seeks to lower passenger crowding, cut down wait times between buses, and offer riders a more comfortable journey.

This step comes after 27 fresh buses arrived at the Chamkani Depot recently, raising the total network fleet to 296 buses. TransPeshawar stated that these extra vehicles will upgrade current operations, boost rider comfort, and help roll out new routes.

The organization plans to reinforce the public transit system in Peshawar by growing its fleet and upgrading service quality. Deploying various bus sizes on specific lines will additionally assist the network in meeting rider demand better.

These recent steps are part of ongoing work by TransPeshawar to upgrade public transit infrastructure and deliver a superior travel experience for local inhabitants.
