Following a direct appeal from Punjab Governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan, the Capital Development Authority restarted its bus route connecting Islamabad and Fateh Jang.

A public statement issued by the governor explained that halting the transit option created hardships for regular travelers, including working professionals and students commuting between the regions.

Governor Saleem Haider reached out to Capital Development Authority Chairman Sohail Ashraf to demand the return of the transport network after observing the public struggles.

Travelers pay a budget-friendly fare of Rs. 50 for each journey on the route. The official release from the governor stressed the value of this cheap transit for citizens dealing with increasing expenses.

Saleem Haider expressed gratitude to the Capital Development Authority chairman for agreeing to the appeal and bringing back the transit line for citizens. This decision comes after a prior notice about adjustments to the feeder bus system in Islamabad, which involved ending the FR-13 line running between Fateh Jang and Golra.
