A local court on Thursday issued non-bailable arrest warrants for 27 doctors and administrative officers of Hyderabad Civil Hospital in connection with the death of a 17-year-old dengue patient, 24NewsHD TV reported.

The magistrate directed police to detain every named individual and bring them before the court at the next hearing scheduled for October 27, after they failed to appear.

The matter involves the death of Hasnain Aamir, who was being treated for dengue at Civil Hospital Hyderabad. His father, Aamir Latif, lodged a complaint at Market Police Station last year.

According to the father, he approached the court to have a case registered, accusing the hospital administration of negligence and carelessness in his son's treatment.

Subsequently, a case was filed against the hospital's doctors under Section 302, which pertains to punishment for murder.
