Television serial Dar-e-Nijaat from ARY Digital accumulated more than 1.7 billion views across various social media and digital channels following the release of 23 episodes, based on an announcement by ARY Plus.
Saqib Khan directed the show from a script written by Umera Ahmed, with a premiere date of 1 August 2026. Broadcasts happen on Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm on ARY Digital. Sheheryar Munawar portrays university professor Abu Bakar, and Dur-e-Fishan Saleem acts as Zaryab. Zamil is played by Nameer Nawaz Khan, alongside supporting cast members Sania Saeed and Saba Hamid.
Plot developments center on Zaryab dealing with a severe betrayal from her childhood friend and romantic partner, eventually forming a connection with the faithful Abu Bakar. Audiences both locally and internationally showed great interest in the plot elements involving heartbreak, religious faith, redemption, and hidden family matters.
YouTube figures started high, with the initial episode exceeding 30 million views. Subsequent episodes moved mainly to the ARY Plus service for viewers inside the country. Television broadcast ratings also remained high, placing the program among top-performing series of 2026.
Even though older extended programs like Tere Bin reached larger overall totals over longer periods, the fast growth of Dar-e-Nijaat across 23 episodes establishes it among major digital achievements for the current season. Fresh episodes keep broadcasting as viewers track the journey of Zaryab and Abu Bakar.
