Behaviour Interactive confirmed that the Chucky Chapter will be taken off all stores on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, at 08:00 PM PKT / 11:00 AM Eastern, giving players only a month to buy the horror icon. The developer also said the DLC will disappear from in-game and platform stores at that exact time.

Last Chance Sale & Playability

Anyone who purchases the content before the deadline will keep full access, meaning Chucky stays playable in regular matches and 2v8 games after the store removal. To mark his three years in The Fog, Behaviour Interactive will run a large discount, announced in a Dead by Daylight post on X. Starting Monday, October 26, the Chucky Chapter bundle drops from $4.99 to $2.49, a 50% reduction, on all platforms.

Players who skip the DLC will still encounter Chucky's abilities, as the team will move all his exclusive perks into the general perk pool. For example, the perk "Hex: Two Can Play" will be renamed "Hex: Eye For An Eye" on November 24.

The Good Guy Legacy

Chucky entered the game as the 44th Killer, voiced by Brad Dourif, who has portrayed the character for nearly four decades. The doll first appeared in the Child's Play film series, which includes eight movies and a three-season TV show launched in 2021. In Dead by Daylight, his small size lets him hide from Survivors, while his slow speed balances that stealth.

He uses powers such as Hidey-Ho Mode to generate confusing Illusionary Footfalls, Slice & Dice to charge a Survivor with a chef's knife, and can Scamper under pallets and windows to close distances quickly. Signature perks like Batteries Included and Friends 'til the End make him a tough opponent near generators.

Future Updates

Even as Chucky departs, the game continues adding third-party crossovers. In early October, NieR: Automata skins for Feng Min, Yui Kimura and The Legion were released, featuring characters 2B, A2 and Emil. Behaviour Interactive is also working on a major graphical overhaul for the entire game, slated for the second half of 2027, a project first mentioned during its 10th-anniversary broadcast.
