Google has begun offering hardware for purchase straight from the Play Store in certain markets. A new "Shop devices" link in the account menu lets users buy smartphones and smartwatches without going to the separate Google Store.

Pixel and Samsung Devices Listed

The new hardware area is not limited to Google products. It currently shows items from Google and Samsung, such as the Pixel 11 series, Pixel Watches, the Galaxy S26 lineup, and some Galaxy Watch8 models.

Product availability differs by region; some areas display both Pixel and Samsung items, while others only show Google devices.

The hardware section also seems not to be fully rolled out everywhere yet.

No Special Discounts

All listed devices are priced at their standard retail rates.

Google does not appear to provide Play Store-only discounts or promotions, making this another sales channel rather than a cheaper alternative to the Google Store.

Samsung is the Only Partner So Far

At present, Samsung is the sole third-party smartphone brand appearing alongside Google's own hardware.

It remains unclear whether this reflects a close Google-Samsung partnership or simply that Samsung is the first brand to join the new section.

Google has not confirmed if devices from other Android manufacturers will eventually be sold through the Play Store.
