Citizens received a warning from the National Cyber Emergency Response Team and the National Telecommunication Corporation against publishing family schedules, locations, and private details on social networks, as such content puts households in danger.

Both agencies released a public advisory stating that innocent-looking pictures, text captions, and status updates can expose private data regarding relatives, their habits, and physical positions.

Publishing facts about domestic settings and regular timetables lets bad actors learn personal routines and figure out the exact times relatives stay at home or leave.

People were told to stop tagging residential addresses, revealing current positions, or publishing material that exposes household schedules.

The warning also instructed individuals to restrict private data posted regarding relatives on sites like Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and X.

Both entities stressed that safeguarding household privacy demands higher care during internet usage, because public data can experience exploitation by bad actors.

Authorities pressed residents to use safer digital habits and cut down on extra personal disclosures to keep relatives safe from possible dangers.
