Technology brand Honor introduced its inaugural Win-branded tablet in China on the same day it revealed the Win2 smartphone collection. Built primarily for gaming enthusiasts, this new gadget includes a 240Hz OLED screen, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and an integrated cooling fan, which the manufacturer states is a first for the tablet market.
Design and Display
The screen on the Honor Win tablet measures 8.4 inches across and uses an OLED panel. It delivers a resolution of 1440 x 2304 pixels, a 240Hz refresh rate, and reaches a maximum brightness level of 6,000 nits.
Even with its massive battery and specialized thermal components, the hardware is only 6.1mm thick and weighs 315 grams. Buyers can choose between Black and Silver finishes.
Performance and Cooling
Qualcomm supplies the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor for the Honor Win tablet. The operating system is MagicOS 11, built on top of Android 17.
Honor reports that this is the initial tablet model to integrate a physical cooling fan. The fan reaches velocities of up to 15,000rpm to manage heat output during heavy workloads.
Camera Setup
Picture-taking capabilities include a 13MP camera on the back of the Honor Win tablet, alongside an 8MP front camera intended for selfies and video conversations.
Battery and Price
Energy is supplied by a 10,000mAh battery that accommodates 66W wired charging speeds.
The entry-level configuration in China provides 12GB of RAM paired with 256GB of storage for about $628. A more advanced option offers 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage for roughly $777.
The business has not stated whether the Win tablet will launch in regions outside China.
