Pakistan joins South Africa, New Zealand, and Samoa in Group B as the International Cricket Council revealed the calendar for the Women's U19 T20 World Cup 2027.

Sixteen squads will participate in 41 games spread across four stadiums when the competition starts on January 21 in Nepal and Bangladesh.

Four groups of four squads make up the third installment of this competition, which started in 2023. Title holder India lands in Group A with Nepal, Ireland, and the West Indies.

The squads fall into these groupings:

  • Group A: India, Ireland, West Indies, and Nepal
  • Group B: South Africa, New Zealand, Pakistan, and Samoa
  • Group C: Australia, Bangladesh, Nigeria, and the United Arab Emirates
  • Group D: England, Sri Lanka, United States, and Scotland

Four fixtures happen on opening day, featuring co-host Bangladesh playing the UAE. Ireland meets Nepal on January 22 for its first fixture, and India plays the West Indies in its initial match.

Kathmandu venues TU International Cricket Stadium and Upper Mulpani International Cricket Ground host games alongside Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet and Bir Shrestha Shahid Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Cricket Stadium in Chattogram.

January 26 marks the end of the group round before advancing sides move into the Super Six phase. Two pools form for this round, sending the leading pair from each onward to the semifinals.

Chattogram hosts both semifinals on February 4, with February 5 kept as a reserve day. The championship match takes place on February 6 at 1:30 p.m. local time, and February 7 serves as its reserve day.

Sanjog Gupta, CEO of the ICC, stated that the competition gives rising athletes a chance to play globally and acquire important exposure.

He noted that uniting 16 squads from traditional and rising cricket countries aids the growth of women's cricket, displays new athletes, and brings in fresh viewers.

Gupta stated his trust in partnering alongside Nepal and Bangladesh to host a winning event, wishing every competing squad well in their training.
