The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Lahore revealed plans to raise cash awards for players, coaches, and managers involved in inter-school and inter-collegiate sports events.
A total of Rs. 13.5 million will be distributed by the board in cash prizes this year, positioning it as the highest-paying educational board for sports in Pakistan.
All prize funds will go straight into the personal digital accounts of the athletes, coaches, managers, and technical officials to guarantee transparency.
The board stated that this updated payment method will improve accountability, stop irregularities, and encourage merit when distributing cash rewards.
Mazamil Mahmood, Chairman of the Task Force on Examinations, Lahore Board Chairman Engineer Dr. Badr-ul-Islam, Secretary Mian Rizwan Nazir, and Director of Sports Dr. Badr Mohiuddin will supervise the program.
