Education board inspection teams caught an impersonator alongside three alleged cheating cases during the chemistry test for the second annual matric examinations in Lahore.

Surprise inspections conducted by the squad led by the chairman and the squad belonging to the controller of examinations exposed these violations.

Authorities apprehended Ali Haider at a Government Higher Secondary School testing site for allegedly writing the exam instead of the enrolled student Humayun Ijaz.

Another separate violation occurred at Government Jamia Higher Secondary School, where test-taker Waleed Ahmed faced accusations of cheating.

Officials also filed unfair means reports against Muhammad Raheel and Ali Hassan at Government Graduate College, Raiwind.

Tauseefur Rehman, who serves as the controller of examinations, stated that authorities are enforcing rigid steps to preserve order inside testing locations and eradicate organized cheating.

The board will maintain its zero-tolerance approach toward dishonest practices and syndicates that help candidates bring unauthorized items into exams, according to Rehman.
