The district administration began a crackdown on sheesha cafés after receiving directives from the Islamabad High Court. AC Shalimar sealed four such cafés in the E-11 sector last night as part of this effort.
Authorities have also told all Assistant Commissioners to act immediately against indoor and outdoor cafés within their jurisdictions.
Officials withdrew the No Objection Certificates for the closed cafés. The administration said it will enforce the court orders strictly and without discrimination.
