Parliamentary Secretary for Information Technology Sabheen Ghoury failed to provide a definition for 5G when lawmakers questioned her regarding the technology inside the National Assembly.

As presiding officer Abdul Qadir Patel requested an explanation of 5G, she stated simply that the technology would raise internet speeds.

A separate MNA stepped into the conversation and attempted to clarify the term for Ghauri.

Ghoury informed the assembly that 5G services currently operate in just 24 cities.

She mentioned that officials are working to stabilize performance in those areas prior to rolling out coverage to additional cities.
