Jazz, operating as Pakistan's top connectivity provider through JazzWorld, has grown its JazzFi user base to 11 million people. This Voice over Wi-Fi platform allows subscribers to experience better voice connections and dependable calls using wireless networks.

Launched in July 2023, Jazz became the initial mobile network in Pakistan to provide direct Wi-Fi calling to both landlines and mobile numbers. Subscribers can make and take calls via wireless networks using their current mobile numbers without needing a separate app. The tool works well in areas with poor cellular reception, preserving call clarity while permitting simultaneous data and voice activities.

JazzWorld Chief Technology Officer Khalid Shehzad stated, \"VoWiFi complements traditional mobile networks by enabling reliable voice connectivity through Wi-Fi. Its integration with our network gives customers an additional way to stay connected while optimizing the use of available network resources. The growing adoption of JazzFi demonstrates how complementary technologies are helping us deliver a more consistent and seamless connectivity experience.\"

Compatible smartphones across the country support the service, and users can turn on Wi-Fi calling directly inside their device settings. The feature operates through native phone calling functions once activated, letting subscribers use it without altering their telephone numbers or dialing habits.

Jazz keeps investing in cellular infrastructure and auxiliary technologies to improve service standards and address shifting consumer demands. The rising popularity of JazzFi shows how such tools expand network benefits beyond standard cellular reach and improve user satisfaction.
