A fresh nighttime public attraction is now open in Lahore as the Lahore Development Authority has placed a colorful dancing fountain at Azadi Square.

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif ordered the installation of this feature, following a prior setup at Lahore Railway Station, based on details shared by the authority.

Vibrant lighting in blue, green, and purple mixes with synchronized water jets to form shifting visual patterns in the new display. Enhancing public areas throughout Lahore is the main goal of this project.

Residents of Lahore received this project as a gift from the chief minister, according to the Lahore Development Authority, which also noted that the fountain brings a transformed appearance to Azadi Square.

Beautification projects in the city previously included the railway station installation. Expanding illuminated water displays to another public spot is what the authority achieved with this latest Azadi Square addition.

Operating hours and the total cost of the project were omitted from the official announcement.
