Officials declared the Government Girls Higher Secondary School situated in Mozang, Lahore, unsafe, which required the immediate transfer of 265 young students to a boys facility while the academic session continues.
These pupils transferred to the Government Community Boys High School in Mozang to take part in evening sessions. Morning classes at this location already serve 401 boys, according to the setup.
Parents expressed alarm over this abrupt move, stating that changing schools in the middle of the academic year treats the students unfairly.
Reports indicate that multiple girls declined to participate in the evening sessions, creating worries about a major decrease in enrolment if pupils drop out.
