Ahead of its October 26 release in China, Redmi has disclosed further specifications regarding the K100 smartphone. This device will accompany the Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max models that debuted in August.

Redmi announced via its official Weibo page that the K100 sports a dual rear camera configuration anchored by a 50MP Light and Shadow Hunter 800 primary sensor. This sensor has an f/1.68 aperture and a 1/1.55-inch size.

Water and dust resistance are guaranteed by an IP68 certification, according to the manufacturer. An ultrasonic fingerprint reader is also embedded directly beneath the screen.

Additional hardware specifications were published in a separate Weibo statement by Redmi. The device contains an 0815 X-axis linear motor for enhanced haptic feedback, seven connectivity antennas, and symmetrical dual speakers.

A 6.83-inch AMOLED screen and a 10,000mAh battery supporting 100W wired charging were earlier verified by the brand.

Buyers can choose from three color variants, which feature a fresh Firefly Green option. Ahead of the October 26 release, reservations are currently live on the official Xiaomi website in China.
