Nishat Group, which ranks among the largest and oldest business conglomerates in Pakistan, partnered with high-end electric mobility label LUXEED by signing a strategic cooperation pact in Wuhu. Top executives from both corporations were present at the event to witness the signing ceremony, which unites their assets to bring the LUXEED brand to Pakistan and advance the nation's green transportation sector through shared resources and local collaboration.

Nishat Group: A group that has shaped Pakistan's economy

Serving as a core pillar of the private sector in Pakistan, Nishat Group maintains a strong presence across agriculture, power, insurance, banking, cement, and textiles. Over several decades, the firm has established a track record for disciplined operations, long-term capital placement, and rapid adaptation to shifting market conditions. Its wide-ranging footprint covers manufacturing, finance, and energy, providing a level of resource combination and market penetration that very few local enterprises can rival.

That capability is already visible within the domestic automotive industry. Operating through NexGen Auto, Nishat Group launched OMODA & JAECOO in Pakistan during August 2025, backed by an outlay of USD 100 million and local assembly operations in Faisalabad. Driven by strong customer service, an expanding dealer network, and the market weight of Nishat Group, the brand recently surpassed 15,000 customer deliveries during its first year. Furthermore, NexGen Auto recently brought iCAUR to Pakistan in partnership with Chery Group, as showcased at PAPS 2026.

This collaboration with LUXEED International represents the next phase of expansion into high-end new energy vehicles. By bringing cutting-edge technology to Pakistan, Nishat Group intends to support the ecological transition of the national automotive sector and boost local market competitiveness.

What LUXEED brings

Based on thorough studies of international consumer demands, LUXEED centers its identity on three core tenets consisting of Intelligence, Luxury, and Driving Pleasure, which are captured by the motto \'I DRIVE, YOU ENJOY.\' formed through a joint effort between Huawei and Chery, LUXEED functions as an elite electric vehicle brand. Within Huawei\'s Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance, Chery oversees production and engineering, while Huawei contributes its Qiankun ADS driver assistance, HarmonyOS smart cockpit, and digital drive systems.

On 21st October, LUXEED hosted its international brand debut in Wuhu. The gathering transformed its concepts into practical experiences, highlighting driving freedom, comfort, safety, and human-centric technology.

Chery Group's global strength

The backing of Chery Group supports LUXEED, with Chery having maintained the top position in passenger vehicle exports from China for 23 straight years alongside total worldwide sales exceeding 20 million units. Its established production infrastructure, international research network, and overseas business background offer a strong foundation for growth across global markets. Pakistani buyers are already familiar with this backing through the iCAUR and OMODA & JAECOO models that Nishat Group brought to the country over the past 12 months.

What it means for Pakistan

Although the new energy sector in Pakistan expands continuously, buyers seeking high-end, tech-focused choices have faced restricted options. The alliance between Nishat Group and LUXEED seeks to address this gap by establishing an entire framework of offerings, services, and infrastructure, ensuring purchasers receive the same reliability, parts availability, and after-sales care associated with any Nishat enterprise.

Relying on technical innovation and consumer focus, this agreement launches a fresh phase of intelligent and green transit for buyers in Pakistan while supporting environmental and economic advancement.

Nishat Group will disclose specific LUXEED vehicle models, technical specifications, retail pricing, and the rollout schedule for Pakistan at a future date.
