Pakistan Railways CEO Muhammad Hafeezullah officially launched an upgraded Millat Express train at Faisalabad Railway Station on Thursday to enhance passenger travel. Hafeezullah led the ribbon-cutting for the newly outfitted train set, noting that all three rakes of the Millat Express have now undergone renovations, with this particular unit serving the route between Lalamusa and Karachi by way of Faisalabad.

According to Hafeezullah, the rail agency intends to modernize and overhaul the sets used for all cargo and passenger journeys. Speaking to reporters and travelers, the chief executive explained that the organization is implementing concrete measures instructed by Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi to better passenger amenities, modernize railcars, and deliver a tidier, cozier journey.

Following the launch ceremony, Hafeezullah walked through the renovated train and instructed staff members to keep the carriages in good condition, service onboard amenities on a routine basis, and preserve strict sanitation levels.

Upgrading operational equipment, such as engines and carriages, plays a critical role in cutting down on train derailments and other mishaps systemwide, especially along Main Line-1 linking Peshawar and Karachi.
