Pakistan took delivery of 179 electric buses from China, the cargo reaching Karachi Port on the vessel MV RUINING 6. The vehicles were moved from Yingkou, China, to the Karachi Gateway Terminal Multipurpose Limited facility.
The consignment is assigned to Margalla Heavy Industries Limited, though officials have not disclosed where the buses will be placed or when they will start service.
The Karachi Port Trust oversaw the arrival and unloading, underscoring the port's capacity to handle sizable cargo and transport equipment shipments.
