On Wednesday, the Pakistani rupee finished in positive territory against the US dollar for the 266th consecutive session. Advancing by one paisa today, the PKR settled at 276.86. Meanwhile, the British pound climbed back to the Rs. 371 mark.
Since December 25, 2025, the rupee has continuously recorded gains relative to the dollar.
Other Currencies
Against other major currencies, the local currency dropped by Rs. 1.2 versus the GBP and lost 99 paisas against the Australian dollar.
Losses also included eight paisas against the euro and three paisas against the Canadian dollar.
Conversely, the PKR advanced by one paisa each against the UAE dirham and the Saudi riyal.
