On Friday, the Pakistani rupee finished in positive territory against the US dollar for the 268th straight day. Advancing by three paisas, the local currency ended the session at 276.82. Continuous gains for the rupee against the dollar have been recorded since December 25, 2025.
Other Currencies
Against the British Pound, the rupee improved by 82 paisas. It also rose by three paisas relative to the Australian Dollar. An increase of Rs. 1.36 was registered against the Euro, whereas a drop of three paisas occurred against the Canadian Dollar. The rupee held steady against the UAE Dirham and added six paisas in value against the Saudi Riyal.
