The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Peshawar published a roster of Class 9 students to receive complimentary Chromebooks through the Prime Minister's Digital Pakistan Initiative.

An official notification revealed that the board sent student details for those taking the SSC Annual-I Examination 2026 to the Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) in Islamabad.

BISE Peshawar instructed leaders of connected government schools to review the student rosters and confirm their academic and personal details.

The project delivers digital learning gadgets to learners in public education institutions.

Eligibility Criteria for Free Chromebooks

The Chromebook giveaway includes eligible Class 9 students from public schools connected to BISE Peshawar.

Information shared with the announcement indicates that learners scoring 424 or higher in the Science group and 315 or higher in the Arts group were selected for review.

Yet, the official BISE Peshawar notification does not state these marks as universal eligibility cutoffs by itself, so schools must inspect the published board roster before confirming student eligibility.

The board posted the student roster on its official website for school administrators to examine.

Final distribution depends on verification and the rules of the Chromebook distribution program.

How Schools Can Verify Students for Free Chromebooks

BISE Peshawar told principals and leaders of connected public schools to examine the official roster of eligible students.

School leaders must fill out the required verification form with correct details, such as the student name, B-Form number, exam roll number, board registration number, academic marks, and school details.

Schools must supply the student marksheet and an attested copy of the B-Form, alongside an attested copy of the parent or guardian CNIC.

The student and parent or guardian need to sign the form, and the principal must verify, sign, and stamp it.

Schools were directed by the board to deliver the signed hard copies directly to this address:

Office of the Director Equivalence, Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC), Plot No. 25, Street No. 38, G-10/4, Islamabad.

School leaders must report the delivery to the Director of Research and Development at BISE Peshawar as well.
