All vehicle types can now use the Babusar Top road following a three-day closure triggered by heavy snowfall, police stated.
Law enforcement officials explained that the route was previously blocked from the Gilgit direction after significant snow accumulation. Travel from both Gilgit and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is fully restored now, which provides relief for travelers and vacationers.
Commuters heading to and from Gilgit through Mansehra faced hardships during the blockage. Three stranded oil tankers were stuck at Babusar Top for the duration of the three days. Police successfully recovered these vehicles and permitted them to resume their trips.
