Civil and sessions courts throughout Punjab are shifting to winter operating hours starting November 1, 2026, following a schedule revision announced by the Lahore High Court (LHC).
An official notification from the LHC states that provincial courts will function between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. from Monday to Thursday.
Proceedings on Fridays will run for a shorter duration, lasting from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
These updated operating hours will stay active until March 31, 2027.
Litigants and legal professionals across Punjab must adjust their schedules to accommodate the new winter court hours.
The new winter timings take effect on November 1, 2026.
Courts will operate from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
On Fridays, proceedings are scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
