The Punjab cabinet has approved a further adjustment to the Basant 2027 schedule in Lahore, setting the festival for March 12, 13 and 14, 2027.

Dunya News reports the provincial cabinet accepted a summary proposing the new dates. The event will permit kite flying throughout Lahore, but only under government regulations.

This latest decision alters the festival timetable again as officials ready for Basant celebrations in the provincial capital.

Under the updated plan, residents can observe Basant over three days in March 2027, though kite flying will continue to be governed by authority rules.

The revised timetable is intended to steer preparations for the celebrations across Lahore, including arrangements for regulated kite flying.
