The Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra and Galaxy S27 Pro have shown up in South Korea's Safety Korea certification records, exposing their battery model numbers before the expected early-2027 release.
The filings list the Ultra's battery as EB-BS958DBY and the Pro's as EB-BS957CBY, both produced by China's Zhuhai CosMX Power.
While the certification images do not display capacities, earlier leaks and China's 3C certification have already suggested the likely figures.
Battery and Charging
Prior certification data indicates the S27 Ultra will carry a rated capacity of 5,534mAh, translating to an expected typical capacity of 5,700mAh.
The S27 Pro is projected to have a typical capacity of 5,200mAh, with a rated capacity of 5,087mAh.
Both devices have also been cleared for 60W wired charging, the same rate as the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Bigger Battery Than Galaxy S26 Ultra
If the leaked figures hold true, the S27 Ultra would provide a 700mAh, or 14%, boost over the S26 Ultra's 5,000mAh battery.
The S27 Pro could also carry a battery 200mAh larger than the S26 Ultra, a 4% increase.
Samsung has kept a 5,000mAh battery across its Ultra line for several generations, making this potential rise notable.
Earlier reports said Samsung once tested an S27 Ultra prototype with a 7,000mAh battery but ultimately selected a smaller cell to preserve the S Pen.
Expected Launch
Samsung has not given an official launch date for the S27 series.
One recent report suggests the company may revert to its usual January or February rollout.
The Galaxy S27 Ultra and S27 Pro are anticipated to debut in early 2027, though final specs and availability remain unconfirmed.
