Chairman Professor Badrul Salam announced on Friday that the Lahore Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education intends to administer four yearly matriculation and intermediate tests via a digital platform. During a press briefing concerning testing updates, Badrul Salam stated that the organization finished a test run of digital grading and currently gets students ready for the shift toward digital testing.
He noted a 7 percent rise in first-year outcomes, pointing out that this upward trend extended beyond Lahore to include education boards throughout Punjab. Preparations for computer-based testing at testing sites and academic institutions are finished, according to the chairman. The board initially ran a small test with 500 pupils and prepares to conduct a practice test involving 3,000 applicants.
Students receive information regarding the computer-based testing procedure along with instruction on digital paper grading, he explained. Tauseef ur Rehman, who serves as Controller of Examinations, State Officer Shehzad-ul-Hassan, and Public Relations Officer Tahir Javed joined the press conference as well.
