The Saudi Pro League (SPL) has pushed back three games, among them Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr clash with Al Ahli, after fighting intensified between Saudi Arabia and Yemen's Houthis.
League officials said the fixtures were moved for "logistical considerations, taking into account the mandatory minimum rest period between matches."
Matches featuring league leaders Al Hilal against Al Riyadh and Al Ittihad versus Al Shabab are now set for December 19, while Al Ahli's encounter with Al Nassr will be played on March 6, 2027.
The SPL added that every other Matchweek 9 game will go ahead as originally planned.
These postponements followed an hour-long delay to Al Nassr's AFC Champions League tie with Uzbekistan's Neftchi Fergana in Riyadh, after the Saudi-led coalition announced it had intercepted a Houthi-launched missile aimed at the capital.
Recent escalations have heightened security worries nationwide, with missile strikes reported against airports and energy sites.
Reports state that Houthi attacks on Riyadh's international airport over the weekend killed 13 people and halted operations, the deadliest such strike since 2015.
The situation has unsettled the domestic football calendar as Saudi Arabia confronts renewed security threats.
