The Sindh government announced plans to digitise retirement records for civil servants across all departments.

According to the new directive, staff will receive their gratuity and GP Fund on the very day they retire. The College Education Department issued the order to put the plan into effect.

The communication followed approval by College Education Secretary Nadeem-ur-Rehman Memon and bears the signature of Section Officer General Administration Ghulam Mustafa.

The notice instructs that employee records must be supplied and sent out six months prior to retirement to guarantee timely gratuity and GP Fund payments. It also emphasizes that any issues concerning these payments should be settled promptly.

The letter stresses that any postponement in paying gratuity and GP Fund to retiring personnel will be deemed unacceptable.
