American enterprise McCormick & Company intends to purchase a minimum of 76.55 percent of the shares and take control of Unilever Pakistan Foods Limited, based on a regulatory filing released on Wednesday. This transaction forms part of a worldwide deal concerning the food division of Unilever PLC.

The public tender requires all necessary official permissions, which includes clearance from the Competition Commission of Pakistan.
