Vandals targeted two vehicles owned by former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League Noon leader Nawaz Sharif in London, smashing windows and allegedly stealing glass panels. A representative for the Sharif family informed the press that the destruction took place two days prior to the report, noting this marks the third time vehicles belonging to Nawaz have been hit in the British capital.

Metropolitan Police officers have reportedly gathered CCTV footage showing two masked youths taking glass from the automobiles. Authorities have not confirmed any arrests, and the reasons behind the act alongside the identities of the culprits are still unclear.

This event happens while Nawaz resides at the family property in Avenfield Apartments for a trip that involves medical visits. Even though the representative mentioned two past vehicle incidents, details on which specific cases the family meant are not specified.

The Sharif family has previously encountered security threats in London. Back in 2021, four unknown males allegedly attempted to force entry into Hassan Nawaz office while the ex-prime minister was inside, and police were notified.

Earlier in the year, UK officials alerted family members about a possible violent assault based on police intelligence. Investigators have found no connection between that earlier warning and the recent vandalism.
