Xiaomi has opened pre-orders for its Mijia Water Purifier 3 1200G in China, with official sales scheduled to begin on October 30, 2026.
The new purifier is priced at roughly $225 and incorporates a 13-stage filtration system that Xiaomi says can eliminate 145 types of contaminants from tap water.
According to the company, the device relies on physical filtration without chemical scale inhibitors and is capable of purifying up to 50 tons of water over its service life.
Filtration and Water Quality
The Mijia Water Purifier 3 1200G employs a 13-stage system with a claimed filtration precision of 0.0001 microns.
Xiaomi states the setup can remove 145 contaminants, including impurities, residual chlorine, heavy metals, bacteria and viruses.
A self-cleaning function flushes stagnant water from the pipes after periods of inactivity.
The company also says the system meets mother-and-baby-grade standards and produces BPA-free water.
Antibacterial Protection
An antibacterial post-filter and antibacterial materials inside the outlet pipe aim to lower contamination risk.
Xiaomi claims the system achieves an antibacterial rate of over 99% against E. coli and Staphylococcus aureus.
These features are intended to prevent bacterial growth when the unit is unused for extended times.
Water Flow and Performance
The purifier supports a high-flow output of about 1400G for direct drinking water.
It can deliver an initial flow of up to 3.74 liters per minute, filling a 150 ml glass in roughly 2.4 seconds.
Design aims to supply enough filtered water for households with high daily consumption.
Smart Features
A high-definition display shows water modes, volume settings and total dissolved solids (TDS) readings.
The unit carries an IPX8 waterproof rating and connects to the Mi Home app.
Through the app, users can monitor water quality, track consumption, check remaining filter life, adjust flow and order replacement filters.
